Services

Longer-term cover

Experience shows that such vacancies arise from either a fixed duration absence (e.g. maternity cover/long-term sickness cover) or as an immediate solution to an unsuccessful permanent appointment.

In either situation, we can source a number of suitable and specialist candidates for the cover. If we don't already have the right person available, your consultant can instantly advertise the vacancy – free of charge – and vet, sift and stream any suitable response for you. ONLY when or if, you decide to appoint one of our candidates does a charge become applicable (there is no obligation to appoint even if we advertise for you!!).

Should any appointment of a temporary cover be appropriate for a Permanent post with you (if one exists), then on completion of 2 full school terms or 100 days (whichever is the longer), the permanent post may be awarded to the candidate with NO additional 'temp-to-perm' fee.

Other deals and negotiations can be applied to different scenarios, but you can rest assured that Grass Roots Academic Support understands the financial restraints involved with managing large budgets and therefore provides some of the most competitive rates & fees in the market!

Permanent Jobs

With the recruitment of high calibre staff from traditional advertising becoming more and more expensive and increasingly less effective, our wealth of experience in the Education and Human Resourcing industries can provide you with a cost effective, quick and comprehensive recruitment solution.

As above, we already offer exceptional value with NO compromise on quality, but can also adapt payment and charge structures to suit individual situations.

Daily Supply Cover

In addition to the above services, Grass Roots is able to provide you with teaching staff to cover immediate day-to-day absence. We are available from 7am until 5:30pm, Mon-Fri although can be reached outside of these times if urgent, by calling our mobile number.

Vetting

All our staff are fully vetted in accordance with DfE, GTC and recruitment industry guidelines.

As a minimum, all recruited staff are subject to:

• Face-to-Face interview
• ID checks
• Proof of their Right to Work (unrestricted) in the UK
• CV History check
• List 99 and CRB check clearance
• Overseas Police checks (if applicable)
• Qualification checks including GTC registration checks and NARIC (if applicable)
• Medical questionnaire
• 2 professional references
